Pet Sematary is a horror novel by Stephen King, first published in 1983. The novel tells the tale of Louis Creed, a doctor who moves into a new home with his family. Behind their house there is a pet cemetery where the children of the neighborhood bury their deceased pets. When Louis's daughter is killed by a car, he buries her in the pet cemetery, and she returns from the dead, but she is a monstrous and evil version of her former self.
