How to Cancel Nationwide Pet Insurance

Contact Nationwide Customer Service

1. Call Nationwide customer service at 1-800-930-HOME (4663) during their business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST.

2. Inform the customer service representative that you need to cancel your Nationwide pet insurance policy.

3. Provide the customer service representative with your policy number and the name of your pet.

Confirm Your Cancellation

1. After you have contacted Nationwide customer service, you will receive a confirmation email or letter stating that your policy has been canceled.

2. Review the confirmation email or letter and make sure that the cancellation date is correct.

3. If you have any questions about the cancellation, contact Nationwide customer service again.

Refund or Prorated Premium

1. If you have paid your Nationwide pet insurance premium in full, you may be eligible for a refund of the unused portion of your premium.

2. Nationwide will calculate the refund and send it to you within 30 days of your cancellation date.

3. If you have paid your Nationwide pet insurance premium on a monthly basis, you will not receive a refund for the unused portion of your premium.
